Our Creative Director, Karen Porter, is honoured to have been invited to be a judge in this year’s PRIA Golden Target Awards.
The annual Golden Target Awards recognise the year’s best campaigns, agencies and people in the PR industry, celebrating the creativity and hard work that goes into communicating important business and social messages across multiple platforms.
This is both an opportunity and a responsibility not to be taken lightly, and to be recognised as an important contributor in the PR industry is something that our team takes pride in.
As a business for good, being actively involved in your industry is important, not just from a point of visibility, but also as a contributor and to help shape improvements for the future. Public Relations is an often-misconceived industry and awards such as these help to demonstrate the value and importance that the people who work in the industry bring to their clients, the community and the word at large.
Karen is looking forward to seeing the excellent submissions in this year’s awards.
[Update] Working closely with the other judges in two categories, Karen was inspired by the range of creativity and achievement in each of the award submissions. Ranging from effecting real social change globally to achieving great connection and engagement on a small budget, each submission demonstrated the power that can come from a well-thought out campaign – the power to do good and change the world.
