After six years of enjoying being part of a small business community in Frenchs Forest it was time for a fresh start, with a move to a new home base in Balgowlah.
Although our previous home served us well for a long time, we decided to take the opportunity to move to an office that was located in more of a hub and that had more to offer those who work here.
It was important for us to remain on the Northern Beaches as we’re a small business providing work to those in our local community. And, after several months of searching we found the perfect office in Balgowlah.
“I have had the intention of moving the office to somewhere that has more of a central location feel to it, but that is still local to the Northern Beaches,” says Karen Porter, Creative Director. “When you run a small business it’s important to find that balance between convenience and practicality that also offers you the room to grow.”
In a leafy suburb surrounded by trees, birdlife and with a direct route out of the beaches, our new office is a mixture of home comfort and edgy interiors – who could ask for more?!
Close to the local Stockland, with lots of options for those days where you’ve dashed out without your lunch, two doors down from great coffee (an absolute must) and on a main road with bus routes to the rest of the beaches, Manly and the city. The new location opens up so many more opportunities for employing great people, both from a transport and facilities perspective.
The new office can cater for growth of the team at the same time as providing great facilities for both staff, clients and visitors.
“Our previous space was great for the small team but the new space in Balgowlah offers opportunities to step away from your desk when you need thinking time, either in the break out room or the balcony and has a dedicated boardroom for meetings away from the rest of the team. And, being so close to great shops as well as outdoor spaces, you can be inspired to get out and have some fresh hour during the day, which is really important for a feeling of well-being.”
With North Harbour Reserve just down the road we predict future team picnics by the water when those warm spring days arrive!
