the force underground
Writing and communication has always been my passion from as far back as I can remember. At 17 I decided that I wanted to start something new in my city and introduced the students of Manchester to my own flavour of indy pop culture reviews in the fanzine Lead On. My days when I should have been studying hard involved knocking on stage doors to interview bands and generally hanging out with the cool crowd to bring them news and reviews on people who were doing it with passion.
My driving force has always been helping and connecting people. It’s what I do best and I have a genuine interest in seeing people achieve, no matter what their goals are.
I believe that compassion and empathy are the two most important elements for someone in my business. If I can’t understand what my clients’ needs are and can’t step inside their world then I will be unable to deliver on communicating their goals, ideals and purpose to others.
On a personal level, I am a staunch supporter in a progressive work environment. I think that the first steps that have been made to give women more flexibility at work are admirable, but I believe we need to push further for a cultural change that sees corporations recognise the value of women and men to their family unit and create a flexible and tolerant work environment for all. It is the organisations that are already embracing this concept and that recognise that a holistic approach to their business practices will benefit everyone involved, that excite me and form the ideal partner for me and my team.
We have developed a strong team of communication professionals, both in-house and in a consulting capacity so that we can meet your needs with the right personnel at any time.
We also work with an excellent network of creatives who are equally passionate about their work and who are on hand with their expertise for any needs that arise from your communication strategy.
